I’m Teri Firkins. I believe great work happens when people feel supported, challenged, and actually heard.
I am a hands-on Creative Director who leads by doing. I don't just design and direct; I build the systems and culture that allow teams to do their best work. My approach blends bold storytelling with smart operations: adopting new tools to deliver work that is meaningful, clear, and actually solves the problem.
Over the last 20+ years, I've built creative teams from the ground up (scaling 1 to 6 at HGA, and 4 to 30 at Weber Shandwick), directed award-winning campaigns for Coca-Cola, U.S. Treasury, and General Mills, and proven that you can have bold creative and smart operations at the same time.
When I'm not building brands, you'll find me tending to my plant collection, making music with my partner, or hunting for vintage treasures. I am a single mom to twins in college (resilience is my middle name), a proud Whippet mom, and a fierce advocate for human rights, reproductive justice, LGBTQIA+ equality, and the Oxford comma. I believe design should be as accessible as it is excellent.
